Auras

Auras are passive area effects that can be either party friendly, enemy debilitating, or both. They will activate as soon as you place them into the active spell slots of your equipped spellbook or equip a spellbook that already has auras in the active spell slots.

The aura in the active spell slot does not have to be the currently selected "attack" slot. You can attack with weapons or cast a spell in one of the other hotkeyed slots. Only one aura will be active per character, even if you place two auras in the active spell slots (but you can quickly toggle between two auras with the hotkeys that way).

Some auras may continuously deduct health and/or mana from the user while active. Most aura effects do not stack with other instances of the same aura, but they stack with other auras and effects. Aura target effects, user effects, active cost(s), and radius are all scalable.

Aura of Rejuvenation

  • Projects a regenerative aura to all party members in range.
  • Levels: 55-100
  • Radius: 4-10
  • Cost: 1-3 mana (constant drain)
  • Increases Party Life Recovery Rate by 1-4
  • Increases Party Mana Recharge Rate by 1-4
  • Adds 82-150 to Mana (User Only)

Aura of Aptitude

  • Projects an aura that enhances the learning process for all party members in range.
  • Levels: 35-105
  • Radius: 5
  • Cost: 2-5 mana (constant drain)
  • Multiplies Party Experience Gain by 3-15

Aura of Blessing

  • Enhances the abilities of party members in range.
  • Levels: 10-65
  • Radius: 4-12
  • Cost: 2-4 mana (constant drain)
  • Adds 1-15 to Party Strength
  • Adds 1-15 to Party Dexterity
  • Adds 1-15 to Party Intelligence
  • Adds 20-275 to Health (User Only)
  • Adds 20-275 to Mana (User Only)

Aura of Hastening

  • Enhances the run speed of party members in range.

Aura of Fear

  • Strikes fear into the hearts of lesser enemies in range.
  • % Chance to Cause an Enemy to Flee
  • % Chance to Cause an Enemy to Die from Fear

Aura of Might

  • Enhances the striking power of all party members in range.
  • Levels: 10-100
  • Radius: 4-10
  • Cost: 2-4 mana (constant drain)
  • Adds 10-300 to Party Melee Damage
  • Adds 10-300 to Party Ranged Damage
  • Increases Piercing Hit Chance by 15% (User Only)

Aura of Supression

  • Mutes the spellcasting ability of all casters in range.
  • 35-85% Chance to Prevent Spellcasting
